Welcome to today's Halloween Indie Author Promotion!

Scott Bryan -- Night Children: Dark Birth

Kindle, Nook, Smashwords

Q: What is Night Children: Dark Birth about?

When Annabelle and Roland arrive in the New World, their life is shattered. Vampire lord Dominic Pratchet kills their parents and leaves them to die.

Defying her husband, Eliza Pratchet turns them into vampires and teaches them how to master their cravings and abilities.

Dominic sends various monsters to destroy Eliza and the children. After all their challenges, the vampire children confront Dominic and all his dark servants.

Q: What movie rating would you give your story, and to which age group is it directed?

A: PG rated for mild violence. Middle Grade book geared for kids from 11 on up

Q: When did you discover your passion for writing?

A: I dabbled a bit online until I saw a movie and couldn’t get these new ideas out of my head. I had to write them down and they took a life of their own. Before I knew it I was well on the way to finishing Annabelle’s first novel.

Q: What was your favorite costume as a child, and do you still dress up?

A: A werewolf except I wasn’t a child. I was in high school and after the costume party I walked around the town in costume till 3:am, enjoying their company. It was sweet, too! I had a snout, feet and the whole ball of wax… or fur.

  1. I love vampires, especially when they are scary bloodsuckers. ;) Thanks Andrea for all these great finds.

  2. Thanks guys. Andrew, it is a photo a coworker took. Works well with the theme of children vampires opening their eyes to new darkness. M.R., no sparkles here! The kids are good vamps and the bad guys are bad vamps but they all are traditional Stoker vamps who fear the sun.
